Just checking in for a moment to document what's been going on this month.
Don't Know What to Say -- Feedback 🎧
As I touched on previously, I released my first song "Don't Know What to Say". Initially, I wasn't going to do much advertising with it because it was my first release but after I started showing it to some people, the response was so positive I decided to publically note on my personal social media channels that I had released my first song...and even more people started chiming in with support!
I was overjoyed.
- I had been waiting years to finally show off a song I was proud of from a production standpoint and the fact that I was able to do this myself was super encouraging in multiple ways.
- This hasn't been the fastest route but I'm definitely feeling thankful for the perseverance of believing in what I was doing despite having limited resources and moments where it seemed like I would never get through.
Now, I'm feeling the momentum and using it to push me forward in different ways!
Music Video...?
I am super excited to announce that I have a music video in progress...Okay, not an in-person music video but it's an animated lyric music video 😀
I was originally going to try to create and edit my own video, but after tinkering around with some editing software, it would probably take a month to make some serious progress so I did the next best thing...I found someone to help me do this 🙌
The video should be ready in the next week or two so I'm looking forward to sharing this with everyone! For now...I have another kind of video to share :8^)
Friends...Marcel...🐵...I'm digging this!
I was messing around and was able to generate a video with a scene from Friends (I'm a fan) -- it's a scene where Marcel, Ross's monkey, puts in a song and initially Ross complains (like usual) and then they all start dancing, drinking, and groovin' to the music...now I get to say it's to my song 😂 enjoy!
Big shout out to DistroKid for having this cool "Marcel Generator" to recreate a hilarious moment from Friends -- I'm a Friends fan so this was super neat 🙌
